Description
I am reluctantly selling my No Chalance due to upgrading to a higher category. I would love for it to continue its exciting journey and the romance we’ve given it over the years, restoring it from scratch.
Perfect for couples and sailing beginners, ideal for learning and having fun, whether for day trips or multi-day cruises. Currently located in Castiglione della Pescaia and available for sea trials.
Fully ready to sail, no work needed. Any potential improvements would concern the sails, which are still suitable for cruising or day trips.
Boat with a lifting keel and a raisable deckhouse, with a headroom of 1.85 m below deck, which is exceptional for a 7-meter boat! Draft of 1.2 m with the keel down, otherwise only 0.2 m. Equipped with a small galley with two burners, a mini pantry, an electric fridge, and an icebox. Outfitted with a chartplotter, VHF, water pump, and deck shower.
Autonomous electrical system with two 80 Ah batteries and a 100 W solar panel with MPPT charge controller.
RINA certified for up to 8 people, 12 miles offshore, requiring a boating license. Despite its 7 meters, it comfortably accommodates 8 people, thanks to the flat deck that allows for optimal use of space on board.
It has already sailed around the entire Tuscan Archipelago and up to Corsica.
Pantalone model, sloop configuration, year 1987. Lifting keel and raisable deckhouse up to 1.85 m via winch, equipped with a sunshade and full perimeter cover, fixed with Velcro and metal buttons. Retractable fin keel, operated by winch from the cockpit.
Tiller steering with a lifting rudder blade, rotating on a wooden and steel case. Mobile fin rebuilt with oriented fiberglass fabric. Stable on all points of sail, this small cruiser is full of innovative solutions. Easy to launch and can also beach.
Pantalone is an original trailerable cruiser, designed by Studio Sciomachen in 1980. With low freeboard and good waterline length, both the mast and rudder are collapsible. The hull, although of artisanal construction, is robust, with the entire ballast concentrated in the lifting keel, which extends on deck sliding along a 45-degree inclined trunk.
The amortized hinge system is intriguing, allowing the deckhouse (flush-deck) to be completely raised, creating a space with a height of 1.85 m, which can be covered with a waterproof tarp.
The interior includes a small bow cabin, a saloon partially divided by the keel trunk, and a galley on the side. Neutral at the helm, the hull offers good stability.
