The American shipyard Bayliner, which has been building motorboats since the mid-1950s, specialises in the construction of open, cabin cruisers and bowriders, built in the pure American style, being powerful and well equipped.
Bayliner's Ciera is an elegant inboard cabin cruiser that has been carefully designed in terms of aesthetics, equipment and engines.
Launched in 2005, the Bayliner 265 Ciera is an elegant cab cruiser measuring 8.29 m in length and 2.59 m in width and weighing just under 3 tonnes when empty. With an inboard V8 petrol engine for 300 HP, the Bayliner 265 Ciera is capable of top speeds of 37 knots making it suitable for coastal cruising and day trips as well as all towed sports.
Inside, the Bayliner 265 Ciera is built around a mid-cabin, with relatively low headroom, positioned crosswise to the boat's main axis, a galley and a bathroom with hot water, and a saloon fitting into the bow. The latter converts into a second double berth so that the Bayliner 265 Ciera can accommodate a family with two children or two couples on a cruise.
Outside, the forepeak is reserved for relaxation with a large sunbathing area, while the aft cockpit and the dinette opposite it, which can accommodate six people, are found on the port side. The wet bar and cockpit are located on the other side.
