She has just had her engines serviced, hull polished, fresh anti foul & anodes ready for the upcoming season!
The fore cabin contains a double bed, ample storage, with ensuite and full-size shower compartment, head and hand basin. To port and starboard there are two further guest cabins, one double and one twin, with good storage, TV's and sharing a second bathroom with shower, head and basin. The saloon is beautifully furnished in cherry wood, with cream leather upholstery, cream carpet and headlinings that were replaced in 2018. An open, airy feel throughout, the wide patio-door leading aft. Electric blinds throughout the saloon - 2018. A good-size, round polished dining table has u-shaped seating that provides place settings for six.
Opposite the dining area the helm’s position has a carbon dash with a full suite of Raymarine electronics (including Radar, Plotter and VHF all of which are repeated on the flybridge. There is also the classic Fairline steering wheel and two single, Recaro leather electric helm seats (professionally re-covered).
In the saloon there can be found: a large round table; u-shaped open seating area, cocktail and side cabinets; flat screen retractable TV with BOSE sound bar and electric blinds throughout all cabins.
Below there is a fully equipped galley with induction cooker and Sharp microwave combo oven, dishwasher, as well as a separate utility area with heads, washing machine, and storage.
Teak-laid aft deck with deckhead lighting, secondary morse controls for easy berthing and full-size, bespoke Teak Table. Light grey aft cockpit upholstery and the whole area can be protected from the wind and weather with roll-up/roll-down blue canvas side panels. From the aft deck there is access to the well ventilated and spacious engine room as well as the Crew Cabin that is fitted for two single bunks, a washbasin and head. An electrically operated 350kg passerelle is situated on the swim platform which is fitted with synthetic teak.
Full size steps lead from the aft deck to the Flybridge with its own area for entertainment that includes cream seating, deck-lighting, table, griddle, fridge, sink and aft bimini. At the forward “bridge” the centre helm’s seat has a seat to either side and side seating to starboard. Navigation equipment and instrumentation is a repeat of that found below.
“Sancerity” has been very carefully maintained and tastefully improved by her current owner with no expense spared. She is a good example of this much admired Fairline and has benefitted from only 2 owners from new and a large number of interior and exterior improvements have taken place since 2018.
The Squadron 58 was released early in 2001 and this is what “Rightboat” had to say about it in 2015:
"The Fairline Squadron 58 is a family-friendly flybridge cruiser that features the spacious, luxurious accommodation and tough sea-keeping qualities associated with all Fairline boats. Accommodation includes a master cabin with full size bed, en-suite facilities and clothes storage and walk-in full height closet. Two guest cabins fitted to the same standard and there is an optional fourth twin cabin. The flybridge features three helm seats, a sunpad for private sunbathing, as well as generous space for entertaining and dining. As one of Fairline’s most popular and best-selling yachts, a second-hand Squadron 58 makes a superb investment."
Who and what was this boat designed for?
The Fairline Squadron 58 is a moderate-to-deep-vee planing hull yacht designed for quiet, stable cruising on the ocean or in coastal waters. The inline six-cylinder turbocharged Volvo diesels are positioned inboard, keeping the weight out of the ends to give the boat a level ride without trim tabs. The Fairline Squadron 58 is designed for people who want the security of well-proven design features coupled with sophisticated advances in marine engineering. Research shows that the typical Fairline Squadron 58 buyer wants a boat with purpose - not just pose.
What others say about this boat
“For many years, Fairline has lived by the motto ‘more than skin deep'. The accent is on engineering in most key areas.”
“The company is also big on the finer points of boatbuilding and employs in-house teams rather than contractors to do most things, including the joinery.”
“The drive from the lower helm was indeed refined. Little noise, no spray, and a great view through the windscreen.”
“Her sleek, avant-garde design, ingenious use of space, craftsmanship and technological excellence will delight.”
“This 58 has one of the best bridges I have encountered on a UK motoryacht. It teams genuine innovation with comfort and amenities, great views and safety.”
“All the compartments are large, but the owner’s midships suite verges on palatial; and why not?”
“A definite home from home, this is a beautiful yacht built around sociability.”
Currently berthed in Chichester Marina and available to view by appointment.
