The Duffy 18 is a beautiful 2010 American electric sloop, measuring 5.50 meters in length and 2.03 meters in width. This boat, made of polyester, is in very good condition and excellently maintained, with the last maintenance and antifouling treatment in 2022. The boat is equipped with a quiet electric motor and a battery pack of 12 US 220 Deep Cycle 6V batteries, renewed in 2020, which offers a range of about 6 hours at a cruising speed of 8 km/h. With a maximum speed of 9.5 km/h, this sloop is ideal for quiet and environmentally friendly cruising on inland waterways, ponds, rivers and canals. Steering is via a steering wheel at the outside position and the sloop has a single rudder. The Duffy 18 has a stepped-V hull shape and offers comfortable seating with cushions, a cockpit table, outdoor cushions, and a tarp. The boat also comes with a spare propeller, and features additional equipment such as an electric bilge pump, battery charger, inverter, and shore power. Thanks to the noiseless engine, this sloop is perfect for emission-free cruising, for example in cities like Amsterdam.
