The 1979 Compromis 777 is a solid and smooth sailing polyester sailboat from the Dutch yard Zaadnoordijk, designed by Frans Maas. With a length of 7.87 meters, a width of 2.78 meters and a draft of 1.25 meters, this boat offers comfortable living space for five people. The hull has a round bilge shape and is equipped with tiller steering. Inside you will find a dining area, cushions, refrigerator, mattresses, curtains, and a manual toilet. The engine, a 7.5-hp Volvo MD5B diesel, works, but shows white smoke when cold starting. The boat also has some minor defects, including a slight defect on the nose and a small problem on the stern. The last antifouling treatment and maintenance were performed in 2022-2023. Sailing equipment includes a mainsail, genoa, jib and spinnaker. other equipment includes a spray hood, swim ladder, cockpit table, outdoor cushions and navigation equipment such as a compass, depth gauge and VHF radio.
