Melting Potes is a 1998 Pershing 40 that combines the strength and performance of boats built in the 1990s with the modernity of its equipment. Its gray paint gives it an elegant contemporary touch.

This Pershing 40 stands out from most others by:

• Its engine with 2 VOLVO TAMD 74 of 2 X 480hp (Standard: Caterpillar 3208 2 X 430hp) • Its cockpit console with sink, gas hob, and refrigerated compartment

• Its permanent 220V distribution provided by a combined Mastervolt 3000VA inverter/charger allowing you to use a coffee machine, toaster, or other electrical appliance (TV, phone, tablet, computer charging) at anchor without having to start the generator (within the limit of the battery capacity).

• USB charging sockets (type A and C) in saloon and guest cabin

• A 5 kW Dynamica 60 generator (Standard: 3.5 kW Dynamica 40) to power the air conditioning and cooking simultaneously.

• A large vitro-ceramic induction hob • A chain counter for anchoring

Electronics 

Plotter, VHF, and sounder were changed in 2022 for Raymarine equipment: AXIOM+ 9RV plotter with 600w sounder module, VHF Ray90. All through-hulls were changed in 2021 All batteries were changed in 2021/2022 EPIRB

Windlass changed in 2017 chain change and control with chain counter in 2021

Hull:

Completely reworked and painted using the Pershing process. Gangway also repainted

new summer gray awnings, fenders changed in 2021,

new modular guest cabin bedding,

miscellaneous in 2021/2022

Lighting

LED conversion for saloon and cockpit. Addition of two variable adjustment spotlights in cockpit
