The Transworld Clipper 41 is a spacious and comfortable 14-meter ketch built in 1981. This polyester sailboat is a semi-S-spant hull shape and features a headroom of 2 meters inside, making for a pleasant living space. The accommodation is thoughtfully laid out with a large main cabin with seating for 8 and a fold-out settee for additional sleeping space. The boat has two cabins: one forward with 3 berths and private toilet/shower, and one aft with a double bed and private toilet/shower. The kitchen is equipped with a 3-burner stove, oven, and a new electric refrigerator. The engine is a 1992 Peugeot 52 hp diesel, and the boat has an electric bow thruster. Navigational and electronic equipment include a compass, depth sounder, GPS, chart plotter, and VHF radio. The rigging consists of two aluminum masts with several sails, including mainsail, genoa, mizzen, and jib. Outside, the boat is equipped with a fixed spray hood, an electric windlass, and a dinghy with outboard motor. Safety features include a self-draining cockpit, electric bilge pump, and radar reflector. Although the boat has some minor flaws, such as cracks in the fixed spray hood and an outdated cutter jib, the Transworld Clipper 41 is a reliable and comfortable choice for both pleasure cruising and vacations.
