The Beneteau Oceanis 411 was the fourth generation of the Oceanis range and was characterized by its high level of comfort and exceptional amount of leeward space - a result of Beneteau's long tradition of building high quality boats since 1884. The Oceanis 411 was designed by Jean-Marie Finot and is described as such by the Beneteau shipyard: "Offshore cruising aboard a fast and elegant sailing yacht.
