The Rose is a robust and stylish motorsailer designed by the renowned Martin Bekebrede. With a length of 10 meters and a width of 3.3 meters, this 1992 steel lady offers a clearance of 12.5 meters. Her draft of 1.5 meters gives her stability and safety on both inland waterways and open sea.

The Rose is in good condition, thanks to careful maintenance and recent inspections. She was last taken out of the water in May 2023 for maintenance, including an antifouling treatment. Extensive documentation includes a full electrical diagram, a VAT statement, engine maintenance instructions and other important manuals, highlighting the care and attention to detail that has gone into this vessel.

Built by the Ossenzijl boatyard, this multi-chine bilge has excellent sailing characteristics. Steering is via a steering wheel and offers dual steering positions, both inside and outside. The single rudder and a weight of 8000 kg make her a solid and reliable companion on the water. The bow thruster makes this boat even more maneuverable.

Inside, she offers a cozy and comfortable living space with a dining area, cushions, oven, refrigerator, mattresses, curtains and stove. Although there is no hot water, the electric toilet and hot-air heater provide extra comfort.With the 1500 watt inverter, 230 volts can be used anywhere.With a 150-liter water tank and berths for four (two fixed, two extra), she is ideal for both short and longer trips.

The Peugeot Indenor 4 cylinder diesel engine, with 62 hp, is well maintained and has 2095 running hours. She has a maximum speed of 11.7 kilometers per hour and an economical consumption of 2 liters per hour. With a fuel tank of 150 liters, she can travel long distances without frequent refueling. Electronic equipment such as a battery charger, inverter, solar panels, shore power, alternator and voltmeter make her ready for modern demands.

Equipped with four batteries and extensive navigation equipment, including a compass, depth gauge, chart plotter, hand-held VHF radio, log speedometer, wind meter and GPS, The Danish Rose is ready to take on any challenge.

With a single aluminum mast and two new sails (mainsail and genoa), she offers excellent sailing characteristics. The headsail furling system and the mainsail with reefing knuddles, which can be reefed three times, provide convenience and flexibility in different weather conditions.

Externally, The Rose features an anchor with chain, a manual windlass, a tarpaulin, pulpit and stern chairs, swim ladder, cockpit table, davits and a side railing. The new teak benches and decking in the self-draining cockpit give a luxurious look and comfort. She also features an electric bilge pump.
