The Plantinga cruiser, with a length of 7 meters and a width of 2.5 meters, built of steel in 1993 at the Plantinga yard in Zwolle, with hull shape round bilge. It is equipped with a single rudder and is steered via steering wheel from the comfortable interior space. Weighing 3500 kg, this boat offers stability on the water.

Accommodation includes a dining area with cushions, a refrigerator and curtains and a kitchen. Although the ceilings have yet to be finished and the nose has yet to be panelled, the dinette is in eem fine condition. The boat accommodates 2 permanent berths and has an additional berth available. The cruiser has a 300 liter water tank and a manual toilet.

The boat is powered by a Mercedes engine with an output of 55 hp, which has only 24 running hours after overhaul. With a maximum speed of 14 km/h and a fuel tank of 100 liters, this boat is suitable for relaxed cruising on inland waterways, lakes, ponds, rivers and canals. Electronics include a 1600-watt inverter and both 12v and 220v electricity.

Safety features include a fire extinguisher and an electric bilge pump. The boat has recently been out of the water for maintenance and has had a new antifouling treatment in 2024.

The Plantinga cruiser is ideal for pleasure cruising, vacations or just a day of boating. Despite some flaws, this boat still offers great potential for adventure on the water.
