About Posillipo
Posilippo Yachts was founded in the late 1950s under the aegis of Count Giovanni di Campello and Dottore Casa. The latter later founded the famous Cantiere del Sole.
Bought by the Italian custom motoryacht builder Rizzardi in 2000, Posilippo was, at the time, a range of motor yachts built by Rizzardi in the Posilippo facilities at Sabaudia, in the Lazio region, not far from Rome.
The Rizzardi shipyard is third place on the list of the biggest Italian motor yacht builders.
The Posilippo shipyard built a range of houseboats from 25 to 47' in length throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
The Antigua 34 and 38 are inboard helmsmen built from wood while the Martinica and Posilippo 47 are more cruising oriented and constructed from fibreglass.
Once it was incorporated into the Rizzardi group, Posilippo, which became a brand recognisable for its trident, created a range of motor yachts with lengths ranging between 65 and 120', the famous Technema yachts.
These boats, recognised years later by brokers as being of excellent workmanship, were all made entirely to measure when it came to their interior fittings.
Of these, the 2010 Posillipo Technema 80, is designed to accommodate 8 passengers in four cabins at a speed of 40 knots, ideal for hitting all the Mediterranean jet set's stopovers.
The twin 900 HP engines are each mounted on rotating bases making porting them child's play...
