So you can understand their legitimate pride in adding their signature on the units they produce!The Chaparral 290 Signature is a fast and elegant dayboat. Its line is slender and the pronounced V-shaped hull is equipped with very distinct steps that deflect the spray well. The beautifully designed swim platform provides access to a large storage compartment. It opens onto the cockpit through a very secure gate. The U-shaped saloon can be converted into a large sunbathing area, while on the other side, a small sink and a bench seat finish off this space. The Chaparral is an American boat and it shows! It is a motorboat, with all that it entails, including upholstered benches, drink holders, speakers, a loop pile carpet, a full cockpit, etc. Everything you'd traditionally expect is there, and it has its own charm, as long as you use the boat for what it was designed for. The interior is surprisingly vast for a boat of this size. There are 2 dining areas, both convertible. The first is V-shaped, occupying the forepeak, and you use it mainly as a living area or convert it into a bed, while the other, facing the galley, is more often used as a dining area. Even though this boat isn't particularly designed for it, another cabin under the cockpit can extend the sleeping capacity to 6 people!
